Angel and I met at a castle called Medieval Times located in the city of Winter Park, California.

I was open-minded when shopping for a wedding dress. I tried on several different dresses at different stores. Once I tried on the Martina Liana Style ML1825, I knew it was THE one. The gown features a sweetheart neckline and lace appliqués with the most delicate 3D floral accents.
I felt confident when I put it on, and my family members’ reactions further solidified my decision. And then when we added the veil, it made me look like a princess. 
HOW DID ANGEL REACT WHEN HE SAW YOU IN YOUR WEDDING DRESS?
Angel’s first reaction when he saw me in my wedding dress was very emotional. He was shocked that it was unlike anything else I’d ever worn. He kept repeating that I looked so beautiful.

My partner and I are very minimalistic, so we incorporated subtle details that reflected our relationship and personal style to make the wedding feel personal. For example, Angel likes going to concerts, so we added disco balls to the dance floor’s black-and-white checkerboard.
We also gave matches as wedding favors. Personally, I wanted to add color schemes, such as guests wearing black or champagne, to bring our vision together. I also knew that I wanted nothing but white florals. Instead of a huge traditional wedding cake, I used a one-layer cake and topped it with fresh raspberries, which made the cake pop.
